Welcome to the EAGE/PESGB Short Course on Velocities by Dr Ian Jones

Ian JonesIn addition to the EAGE/PESGB Workshop on Velocities, the two associations invited Dr Ian Jones (ION) to present his short course An Introduction on Migration and Velocity Model Building. This course will be organized at the PESGB Headquarters on 21 February 2018.

The course objective is to provide the participants a firm understanding of the processes and assumptions involved in building velocity-depth models and of the limitations of various migration algorithms. Geophysicists with an interest in migration and velocity model building and geologists (with a basic knowledge of data processing) who wish to understand a bit more about how the images they look at are created.

You can now sign up for both the workshop and/or the short course!

We look forward meeting you in London!
