Application of Geophysical Methods to Engineering and Environmental Problems (10 April 2018)

Geophysical survey techniques have advanced through the 20th century and the 21st century saw automation of data acquisition and analysis for all geophysical methods. While the technology has made the surveys easier, the correct use of instruments is still crucial and data analysis techniques must be appropriate for each field condition. Experience is an accumulation of knowledge and its importance cannot be understated.

The Society of Exploration Geophysicists of Japan (SEGJ) made a standard operation manual of various geophysical surveys and it was published by EAGE. This seminar covers five main subjects by specialists of each discipline to share their experience with the participants. The participants will receive the 660-page manual in digital form worth 60 euro (US$75) as a course material
