How to get to Pau

L'aéroport Pau Pyrénées is the official name of the airport of Pau. The airport is situated 30 minutes from Pau central station. There are direct flights from London and Amsterdam weekly, but also daily flights from Paris, Lyon and London. All destinations can be reached via Paris, London or Lyon.

Taxi
From the Airport to Pau Center: around €30 during the day and €35 at night, on Sundays and public holidays. Rates depend on the distance and destination. We would like to advise you to book your taxi for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays! Taxis can be reserved at the Airport Information desk.

Shuttle bus
The IDELIS shuttle bus runs from Pau-Pyrenees Airport to Pau town centre and Pau train station. They depart every hour from 7.40am - 7-50pm from the train station. You can buy tickets directly from the bus driver and the journey from Pau-Pyrenees Airport to Pau tran station is about 30 minutes.

Please note that the buses do not run Sundays or on French public holidays.

Train
The train station in Pau is connected to several train stations in France (Paris, Lyon, Nice etc).
