Optional post-workshop seminar on Munkholmen island - Friday, 1 September 

Hosted by Workshop Chairs: Philip Ringrose and Tom Daley

For those able to stay an extra day after the EAGE/SEG Research Workshop 2017 in Trondheim, you are welcome to join the informal post-workshop seminar hosted by the workshop chairs. This will give participants a chance to discuss workshop findings and to brainstorm ideas for the future.

If you wish to attend you must register for this by 18th August 2017 by sending an email to puc@eage.org. Please mention the following details: name, organization, email address, and note of any dietary requirements or allergies.

Trip Schedule:

09:45 You must turn up at the Munkholmen boat harbour called “Ravnkloa”
10:00 Boat departure
10:30 Short guided tour of the fort and monastery
11:00 Informal brainstorming seminar on “Smart monitoring solutions”
13:00 Lunch (fish soup, bread, cakes and coffee)
14:15 Boat back to Trondheim Harbour
14:30 Arrival back at Ravnkloa, which is close to rail station and airport bus
NB. For those travelling from Trondheim you could get to the airport by 15:30 that day

 

Cost:

If you register for this trip you must pay 590kr per person (approx. 63 euros) by credit card or cash when you arrive on the island. This fee goes directly to the Munkholmen restaurant and is non refundable.

 

Where to meet:

The meeting point is called Ravnkloa (opposite Munkegata 41) close to the old harbour in Trondheim and easy walking distance from most hotels.
