AAPG/EAGE Tight Reservoirs in the Middle East
AAPG/EAGE Tight Reservoirs in the Middle East Workshop
During the last few years, huge interest in developing tight reservoirs (sandstone, carbonate and shale) started to gain importance in the Middle East region as various countries started to exploit its unconventional resources. NOCs and IOCs as well as service companies and universities in the region made excellent efforts in evaluating the potential for oil and gas accumulations tight reservoirs with different levels of progress in every country.
The fourth AAPG/EAGE workshop will be the first of its kind in terms of solely focusing on the experiences gained in exploring and developing tight reservoirs in the Middle East across the different disciplines (geology, geophysics and engineering). The workshop will emphasize on the practical examples and knowledge gained from both industry and academia in the region.
The core objective of this workshop is to build a discussion environment to go over tight reservoir challenges in the Middle East. Read more here
