AAPG/EAGE Tight Reservoirs in the Middle East
A growing demand over time and continuous consumption seem to be behind the idea of seeking other gas and oil resources in deep and tight reservoirs. Exploration and development activities have increased in the last few years to cover the Middle East’s requirement of hydrocarbons, which is highly anticipated to be one of the most attractive and technically challenging areas.
The Third EAGE/AAPG Workshop on Tight Reservoirs in the Middle East will reap the fruits of the success from the first two workshops in addition to strengthening cooperation between EAGE and AAPG to develop a series of multi-disciplined gatherings dedicated to understanding, completing and producing
from tight clastics and carbonate reservoirs.
Our key objective is to meet worldwide experts from different disciplines, (geology, geophysics, petrophysics, engineering), in the oil industry in order to share their knowledge and experience to identify potential challenges, solutions and the best practices applicable to the region to unlock tight reservoirs; this will be supported by presentations of successful case studies and the sharing of lessons learned through technical discussions, communication and networking.
This workshop targets economic planners, technical experts and decision makers with experience in exploring and developing tight oil and gas reservoirs and who are working in national, international, operational and service companies as well as in academic and research institutions.
Registration for the workshop is open until 23 November 2017. Click here to register.
