Update on Wednesday's technical programme

We would like to inform you that due to a power outage a large part of the Viparis complex was cut off of its main power supply. For this reason, Tuesday's afternoon technical programme has been rescheduled for Wednesday midday.

Technical Programme
We will resume with the postponed sessions during the lunch break (12:10-13:30 hrs) and after the regular technical programme (17:10-18:50 hrs) on Wednesday.

The change in schedule will not affect Wednesday's programme.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Please click here for Wednesday's technical programme. For latest updates, please refer to the Paris 2017 app (name: EAGE 2017)
or go onsite to the Technical Programme Info Desk.

Annual General Meeting for Members (AGMM)
The AGMM will be rescheduled. On Wednesday, the new time and place will be announced in the registration area, Pavillon 3.

Session for Women in Geoscience and Engineering
The Session for Women in Geoscience and Engineering is rescheduled to take place on Wednesday from 16:30-18:00 hrs in Pavillon 2.3.

If you have any concerns or questions, please do not reply to this email, but come and see us at the Technical Programme Info Desk placed in the registration area.

Paris 2017 including SPE EUROPEC

In 2004, The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and EAGE jointly agreed to include SPE EUROPEC into the EAGE’s annual event. This co-operation resulted in a truly multi-disciplinary event providing a fully diverse range of geoscientific and reservoir engineering contributions.

The SPE EUROPEC programme runs parallel to the EAGE Paris 2017 programme and will include several sessions during the main conference days (13-15 June) and two short courses on the days before and after the main conference days.

Join us in Paris

Kevin_McLachlan.jpgThe energy mix is changing but the world will need every form of energy - both fossil and renewable - to meet its growing demands. Our ability to respond effectively to all the changes in our industry especially during this low oil and gas price cycle, determines whether we stay in a time of crises or move to that of opportunity. In order to survive and ultimately thrive again, we need to change and adapt our approaches and historical norms. On behalf of the LAC, it is my pleasure to invite you to the 2017 EAGE in Paris. It’s time to open a new Chapter.
