Challenge Yourself: Enter the Laurie Dake Challenge 2020
Call all geoscience and engineering students! It's time to assemble a team to enter the Laurie Dake Challenge 2020. The contest invites university students to work on a cross-disciplinary geoscience and engineering integration challenge. The finalists will compete for the title and a prize of 2,000 EURO at the 82nd EAGE Annual Conference and Exhibition 2020 (8-11) in Amsterdam. EAGE to Support and Attend the 2019 Oil & Gas Machine Learning Symposium
EAGE supports the 2019 Oil & Gas Machine Learning Symposium in Houston, Texas on 30 October 2019. This year our Local Chapter Houston will attend the event which will bring together the upstream oil and gas industry and major technology companies. The programme will focus on the intersection of business strategy, technology development, and applications of machine learning and AI to finding and developing hydrocarbons.
